Michele Vernola is an accomplished and well respected business professional specializing in logistics negotiations and management. In 1988, Michele began her logistics career with Federal Express Corporation in their operations division. Upon completion of her Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Michele was promoted to field sales representative for Federal Express. Mrs. Vernola’s responsibilities included business development, pricing contract negotiations, yield management, customer service and account management. Michele was quickly recognized for her territories sales growth allowing her to advance through multiple levels of sales positions. In addition to her upward mobility, Michele was awarded such honors as; Pyramid of Excellence, Top Sales Representative, Sales Executive of the Year (3 years) and Presidents Club to name a few.
Michele remained with Federal Express through the RPS acquisition and was promoted to the highest sales position as Global Sales Executive. While in account management,.Michele managed such strategic accounts as; Boeing, Hughes, McDonnell Douglas and Ingram Micro. In early 1997, Michele left Federal Express on excellent terms to focus on her young family. Towards the end of 1997, Mrs. Vernola began her logistics consulting career. Currently as Director of Project Management. Mrs. Vernola has assisted clients of MCG Logistics in dramatically reducing their logistical expenditures due to her wealth of knowledge and understanding of the carriers and their interworkings.
